From Softboy to LINE DANCER "RIBERO"
The painting robot models have been consolidated into SWAN and LINE DANCER.

Evolution Process:
Softboy was the world's first suspended (overhead) painting robot. It used Bridgestone's artificial muscle rubber actuator, making it flexible and less dangerous in the event of a collision. It was equipped with spray guns and transport devices, integrating all necessary equipment for painting. At the time, it was a groundbreaking painting robot, and the final model was equipped with servo motors on all axes, significantly improving its precision.
Teaching software was also developed in a chat format (interactive), promoting digitalization. With recent improvements in computer performance, SWANIST was developed, allowing for pre-painting simulations in a virtual space
To meet the recent demand for multi-coating, a turret gun unit capable of achieving multi-coating with a single robot was developed, improving motor performance. This led to the integration into the LINE DANCER category, which includes features like an 8-gun setup and high payload capacity.
What is RIBERO?
The base S-type robot has been inherited, and the performance of the motors on each axis has been improved. It has been named Line Dancer Libero. The name "RIBERO" is inspired by the volleyball position "Libero," which can switch between offense and defense.
The base S-type robot has the versatility to paint workpieces of various shapes, hence the name "Libero," combining the flexibility of offense and defense. The "R" in RIBERO stands for the "R" in R-Technology.
Basic Robot Classification and Lineup
Our robots are broadly classified into the following two categories :
A) Suspended type
B) Stand-alone type
The models are as follows:
1) SWAN [Stand-alone type, suitable for small-lot, multi-product production]
2) LINE DANCER [Suspended type, suitable for mass production]
3) LINE DANCER RIBERO[Suspended type, suitable for medium-lot production and special sizes]
