Completely Teaching-less. To the final chapter.
Last year, 2024, Takubo Engineering celebrated its 50th anniversary. We would like to express our deepest gratitude for having developed a variety of coating equipment and delivered many coating facilities to our customers.
We are also grateful for the support and patronage of our customers, business partners, staff, and many others who have helped us overcome many natural disasters and have continued to work with us. Once again, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of you.
As the times are rapidly moving toward DX (Digital Transformation) using AI (Artificial Intelligence), we at TAKUBO ENGINEERING have been focusing on the development of learning functions along with the development of equipment with an eye on the future of coating technology.
Machines have brains, make decisions, and execute them on their own. Within the framework of automation, the incorporation of generative AI technology will bring about a dramatic evolution in coating production. The “teaching” of coating robots will also open the way to full automation through the use of AI.
AI recognizes the workpiece and constructs the optimal teaching method. It sets the coating conditions, simulates the surface, and calculates the coating cost. Managers simply check and judge the results proposed by AI. In other words, the system will evolve into an era in which AI will fully replace the conventional skills and experience of skilled workers combined with the performance of the equipment through full automation, such as “set the workpiece and it will come out baked.
Effective use of coating robots will lead to continuous and stable evolution of coating management. We believe that “teaching” is the last fortress that will open the way to the future of coating technology.
