The TAKUBO Engineering symbol is designed to express the image of “new ideas and innovation.”
I’d like to explain about the letters expressing the slogan “new ideas and innovation” in the TAKUBO Engineering symbol and the meaning of the red spiral logo.
I’ll start by explaining the slogan “new ideas and innovation.”
By “new ideas” is meant the free creativity and ability to look at things from a new angle that forms the basis for a wide perspective and flexible thinking, which are essential in a constantly changing industry like ours.The theme Starting from Zero, introduced in 2005, is based on the same idea as the slogan. There were several other companies that chose “zero” as their theme in 2005, and they all probably had in mind the idea not comparing themselves with others and going back to zero to look at things dispassionately as a way to continue producing new innovations.
“Innovation” was chosen as the second element in the TAKUBO slogan to express the company’s position as a leader in the industry, its willingness to constantly take on new challenges, and its international perspective.
Next, I’d like to tell you about the TAKUBO Engineering logo.
It’s an interesting design, don’t you think? A counterclockwise spiral. The counterclockwise orientation expresses the idea of “looking at things from a new angle.”The shape of the spiral itself is actually based on a “ring of wisdom” motif. This motif expresses the creativity and flexibility needed to solve difficult problems one after another in a spirit of play and adventure. The spiral portion expresses endless persistence and flexibility, and the straight bar means that the corporate philosophy and vision are like a single immovable pillar.
Finally, the red in the TAKUBO logotype symbolizes vigor and passion.
