Industrial coating always involves condition setting, coating test, or sample preparation. It is important to realize that such works on the production line cause a large loss cost.

This trend is quite natural, and it is driven by the conventional concept of the coating system, which is that color must be applied on the production line before full production takes place.

Technology has advanced dramatically in recent years, and many devices are digitalized and computer-controlled, as are sensors and communication technologies. Moreover, costs are being made visible.

In such an environment, if the old ways of coating systems are inherited, it will not only be impossible to win the cost competition but also to develop even the optimization of coating films, etc.

Then, what is an ideal coating system?

The concept is to separate full production from data preparation, with the dedicated robot performing condition setting, coating test, and sample preparation. This is a simple separation of works.

No condition setting or other works on the production line. Because it would use more energy cost than necessary.
This also includes work costs, labor loss costs, and paint and equipment energy loss costs.

Therefore, the condition setting work is separated from the production line, and coating data is created by creating coating tests and coating samples with a robot system dedicated to coating data creation. The data is then installed in the full production line for full production.

As a result, it improves the work environment with lower operating costs and significantly reduces energy costs.
