TAKUBO is working on the development of coating equipment designed to cut users’ coating costs by half.
This development effort employs the latest technology in order, for example, to make it possible to coat work that originally cost 50yen per piece for only 25yen per piece. It centers on coating robots and also involves coating technology, coating supply equipment, tool development, and environmental equipment, all with the aim of reducing the volume of coating required. Our guiding principle is "half the cost."

This mobile phone handset coating system employing new revolving coating technology, which we call "R technology," was developed with "half the cost" as the key concept. It has since established itself as the standard, both in Japan and worldwide. The Softboy Pro has also joined the ranks of standard equipment. It is a coating robot system that incorporates technology that addresses issues common the world over, including reducing coating consumption, maintaining stable product quality, environmental considerations, sludge processing, and reducing consumption of paint thinner for cleaning.
