Moss Coat（mosscoat） is a new ［plant-quality］coating technology which Takubo has developed, in which our original inorganic paint and moss are combined. It is a very environmantal friendly technology without organic solvents, which has some great features such as thermal barrier effect and others. We named it Moss Coat from moss and coating.
As roof green planting measures, there are some products using moss,especially Racomitrium Canescens, which has so many kinds in the natural world and is very strong even in dried situation. They are generally fixed on a mat or thick sheet by mesh or net. Takubo has developed a new ［plant-quality］ coating technology with combination of our original inroganic paint and alive plant, that is, Moss Coat.
Moss Coat is possible to coat any kinds of material such as Steel, Wood, Resin, Porcelain and etc. Thermal barrier effect in case of setting the Moss Coat Panels on metal-folded roof, Diffusion effect of the heat, Shut-out of the noisiness, Durability of more than 10 years, Maintenance-Free, Light-weight, Colorful Dyeing, and so on.
