New Robot “Line Dancer” Newly Developed
World Maximum Grade of Coating Production Volume
＜Development Circumstances＞
The new robot answers the requirement for a world standard mass production robot to solve the entire problem such as need of mass production, low cost and environmental issues.
＜Outlines＞
One robot coats tuning works with 12 guns. The maximum production volume is 120 pieces of mobile phone case in a takt time. Line Dancer is a stop type while Super Spindle 300C was a following, synchronized moving type. The works stop in front of the robot on a special line (called Dragon Line), and then they are coated by Line Dancer. Therefore the width of booth can be shortened and the energy coast for air conditioning can be reduced as well.

◎Mass Production and High Quality with Low Paint Consumption
◎Reduction of the booth width by about 45% because of Stop Type Coating, where the works are coated by the robot being stopped.
