What are the differences between a usual balance-arm robot and Takubo’s?
Our robot is a ceiling –suspended robot, which was developed exclusively for coating.
The balance-arm was originally developed for welding. It is fixed on the floor, and it moves as it draws an arc. Now it is used for coating, too. It is said that it can be equipped with max 4 guns.
In our SOFTBOY PRO series, all robots are “Ceiling-suspended moving type” robots, in which a robot is suspended from the upper rail and is moving from side to side.
The advantages are:-
◎It is able to follow along the line conveyor.
◎It can be equipped with max 12 guns so that the coating production volume by one robot is the largest class of the world.
◎It is possible to install in a clean room.
And there are some other merits.
