Environmental Policy
ISO 14001
Takubo Engineering's Togane Technical Center obtained ISO14001 certification in 2000, and our efforts to decrease the environmental impact of our operations are ongoing.
Takubo Engineering is conscious of the fact that protecting the global environment is a pressing issue for humankind as a whole, and that the coating industry in which we are involved has an impact on the environment. We therefore have adopted the following environmental policy.
- Takubo Engineering will endeavor to gauge accurately the environment impact of its business activities, including the development, design, and manufacture of products. In addition to promoting efforts to prevent environmental pollution, we will work to implement ongoing improvements to our environmental management system.
- We will strictly abide by all applicable laws and regulations related to the environment, as well as any associated requests to which the company has agreed. In addition, we will establish and manage our own standards to the extent possible technically and economically.
- We will promote efforts to conserve resources, reduce industrial waste, and lower energy consumption in order to help preserve the environment.
- We will work to develop and design environmentally friendly technologies, materials, and products.
- In order to achieve ongoing improvements, once a year an environmental audit will be performed, the company's environmental initiatives evaluated, and its environmental policy and environmental goals and targets reevaluated.
- In order to achieve the goals of the environmental policy, efforts will be made to raise the level of understanding and knowledge of environmental management initiatives among employees through environmental education, display of posters within the company, and the distribution of environmental cards.
In addition to the above, related companies will be asked for their understanding and cooperation.
This environmental policy is to be publicized both inside and outside the company.
