SFCHINA2001 China International Surface Finishing and Coating Products Show
Venue: Shanghai, China Dates: November 14 to 16, 2001
The Shanghai Exhibition Center is surrounded by high rise office and apartment buildings, with expressways close by. The airport is approximately a 15-minute drive away.
The roadways near the exhibition site were temporarily blocked off due to the tremendous number of ticket holders waiting to visit the show. The sheer number of people was simply amazing.
We performed a coating demonstration using mobile phone handsets and B5 size laptop computer cases. There were also display panels with descriptions of our custom guns for mobile phone handsets, the types of work that can be coated using our equipment, and key concepts. Seats for business discussions were available on the second floor.
A conveyor type SUPER SPINDLE 3 system was shipped from Japan and installed. The conveyor actually moved, showing the operation of the robots in a realistic setting. OIL BOOTH was represented by photographs.

Visitors eager to see the display. This gives an idea of the vitality of the Chinese market. There were also many visitors from overseas.
In addition to the coating robots, visitors also examined the work jigs and conveyor equipment.
